memang pohon itu sudah berumur ratusan tahun, tapi kata pihak pengelola kebun raya bogor dilindungi dan dipelihara, namun pemeliharaan yang tidak pernah mengadakanpendekatan dengan pohon, sehingga mereka tidak mengetahui kalau pohon sudah lapuk ditengah...akhirnya setelah tragedi tersebut, baru tau kalau mereka sebenarnya tida memelihara, namun hanya menjaga kebersihan sekitarnya saja...sementara pohonnya gak diperhatikan sama sekali...
